villagevoice.com A cab driver coming back from work was assaulted by ten rookie police officers. Nothibng happened to those officers. Instead the cab driver, who was working to feed his family, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
This is just one of the few stories that are heard because of police brutality. I think that it is unfair that police officers sometimes get away with crimes they should be punished sternly for. Just paying attention to his suspended license shows that personally they didnt care about the victim.
I think that it is unfair that the cab driver got arrested because of a suspened license, even after the ten cops beat him so badly. I think that the cop should have gotten some punishment for the act they commited. Cops need to start getting the same treatment as other criminals if they commit a crime.
this is not the first case of this happenin people get hurt by cops all the time. cops get away with all alot of things a people dont say nuttin but something needs to be done.

If the police gets in trouble they only get no more then a few years in jail or suspended for a while but if a regular person do it then its a whole different situation.
I think it is very unfortunate for the cabby to suffer such Injustice.Many of New york Finest abuse there authority and take advantage of innocent citizen.It for us stand up for our self and know our rights
i think the whole police system is corrupt. police officers never get in trouble for the wrong things that they do. instead they look to blame the innocent citizens. idk what can be done about it but i just don't think its right.
