the case of kyllo v. united states was a case that simply could have went great if the officers got a warrant off of tips instead of the thermal usage of kyllo home. the officers use a thermal device to see where the heat areas where high in kyllo home to see where he was assumed to be stashing marijuana. due to the fact that his personal privacy was invade and the test only showed heat and not illegal activity in respondes to the reason of them to go into his home kyllo's case was being highly debated on. the proecutor says kyllo's first amendment right wasnt valid because he was not intend to be private with his production in the first place while kyllo's lawyer simply states the production of such an"illegal" drug is nothing but low profile and private production.
